What is Tube light

Many people will be interested in the principle of LED lighting.

In fact, the biggest gap between LED lamps and traditional incandescent lamps is the filament. Incandescent lamp because of its transparent body, so you can directly observe the state of the filament. The LED lamp is different. It uses a diode as the light source of the entire lamp tube. The lamp tube is coated with phosphor powder. When the diode emits light, the phosphor powder helps diffuse the light to achieve the lighting effect.

It is not that there is a layer of filament connecting the left and right ends inside the lamp tube.

How to make tube light

In the market, tube pcb usually array 13-14 small pcb, most make by led chip. So for make tube light, you need to prepare as fellow:

1. Prepare materials: like the solder, pcb, led chips
2. Prepare machines: like the conveyor, pick and place machine, reflow oven, stencil printer, etc..

First step: Stencil printer machine print solder paste on the circuit board.

Second: Pick and place machine mounting components on PCB

Third: Reflow oven machine reflow soldering

Fourth: Test the pcba

The last one: Packing

What kind of machines should I buy?

For tube light smt line production, there need to prepare:

1. Semiautomatic stencil printer, usually tube is long , not suitable for automatic line.
2. High speed Pick and place machine. Tube is very suitable for high speed pick and place machine for high capacity.
3. Reflow oven: usually apply to 8 zones reflow oven
4. Conveyor: Suggest 1.4 m conveyor.
