Anti-Sperm Antibody IgG Detection Kit with WHO Recommended MAR Method for Sensitive Detection and Longer Reagent Storage

Anti-IgG serum can bind to both IgG antibodies present on the surface of sperm and IgG coated on latex particles, forming a sperm IgG antibody anti-IgG coated latex particle complex.

Latex particles adhere to the surface of sperm and swim together with the sperm. When latex particles are observed attached to the surface of the swimming sperm under a microscope, it is determined that the sperm contains IgG coated antibodies.

Sperm with latex particles attached to the head or middle of the sperm is considered positive.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends a normal reference value: MAR < 50%.

• High viscosity specimens should be tested immediately after liquefaction promotion
• The observation of MAR results is only conducted between motile sperm
• Store reagents at 2-8°C and do not freeze them
• Use a pipette with an appropriate range to avoid excessive loss of reagents and insufficient testing volume
