What is Melamine Furniture Boards?

MFC stands for melamine faced chipboards, Also known as melamine sheets, conti board, Melamine Boards are very versatile and can be used as a cost-effective alternative to the use of solid wood timber for internal projects.

These boards have a chipboard core with a melamine paper applied to each face. Our largest proportion of available colours and decors is available as melamine faced chipboard, it can be used in many applications including furniture for kitchens, bedrooms, hotels and shopfitting. The main difference between this and the MDF core is weight, with the chipboard being marginally lighter due to the wood particles being less dense.

The board is widely used for interior decoration applications for home, kitchen as well as oce furniture. The standard panel size comes in 1830mm x 2440mm (6’ x 8’) with standard thickness of in 9, 12, 16, 18, 25 and 30mm.
