Product OverviewOur Dual Shaft Mixer is an industrial-grade solution designed for
the precise humidification and homogeneous mixing of dry, powdery
raw materials in fertilizer production. It transforms powders into
uniformly moistened, pre-agglomerated material ideal for downstream
granulation. By combining controlled liquid addition, intensive
mixing, and conveying in one machine, it streamlines production
lines, enhances granule quality, and improves overall efficiency. Key FeaturesEfficient Dual-Shaft Mixing: Dual shafts with intermeshing blades ensure rapid, thorough
homogenization. Controlled Humidification System: Integrated spray nozzles for precise, uniform moisture addition. Optimized Three-Zone Process: Dedicated zones for atomization, mixing, and discharge guarantee
consistent results. Durable & Wear-Resistant: Blades made from high-grade, wear-resistant materials for a long
service life. Combined Mixing & Conveying: Helical blade design gently moves material from inlet to
discharge.

Technical SpecificationsModel Range: Batch capacities from 5 m³ to 50 m³. Shaft Drive: Dual independent motors with heavy-duty reducers. Mixing Blades: Helical design, wear-resistant, replaceable. Spray System: Stainless steel nozzles with regulating valves. Construction: Carbon steel main housing; stainless steel (304/316) contact
parts optional. Control: Manual or automated PLC-based control for moisture and mixing
time.
Working PrincipleThe operation follows a precise sequence within three distinct
zones: Atomization Zone: Dry powder enters, and pressurized water is atomized through
nozzles, creating a fine mist over the powder. Mixing Zone: The core area. Dual shafts with intermeshing helical blades
rotate, vigorously folding and shearing the moistened powder to
form uniform, moist agglomerates. Discharge Zone: The homogenized material is gently conveyed by the blades to the
outlet, ready for the next granulation stage.
Applications in Fertilizer IndustryRaw Material Pre-conditioning: Humidifying and mixing base powders like phosphate rock and
ammonium salts before granulation. Organic Fertilizer Production: Uniformly adding moisture and binders to fermented organic
materials (manure, compost). Compound Fertilizer Blending: Ensuring homogeneous moisture distribution in NPK powder mixes
for stable granule quality. Dust Control & Recycling: Agglomerating fine dust and recycled materials into usable
feedstock.
