Disc granulator (also known as the ball plate) adopts the whole circular arc structure, achieving a granulating rate of over 93%. It features three discharging ports for convenient discontinuous production, significantly reducing labor intensity and improving efficiency. The reducer and motor use flexible belt drive for smooth startup, reduced impact force, and extended equipment lifespan. The plate bottom is reinforced with multiple radiant steel plates for durability and deformation resistance. Designed with a thick, heavy, and strong base, it operates smoothly without requiring anchor bolts.

The main gear utilizes high-frequency quenching, doubling service life. The disc is lined with high-strength glass fiber for corrosion resistance and durability, making it ideal for organic and compound fertilizer production.

Before raw material enters the disc pelletizer, water (typically 11-15% of dry powder) is added in spray form during blending. This ensures uniform moisture distribution, causing raw material particles to stick together and form 1-2mm diameter pellet nuclei. These nuclei and wet powder enter the disc pelletizer where scrolling action forms larger balls. As moist balls and powder continue scrolling, adhesion occurs and ball diameter rapidly increases. When balls reach optimal size, they exit the formation area and are collected.

The disc pelletizer consists of a disc body, cleaning device, main bearing parts, main transmission drive, angle adjusting equipment, frame, and other components.
