Dwyer Series 607 Differential Pressure Transmitter
Product Introduction
The Dwyer Series 607 Differential Pressure Transmitter is a
precision instrument designed to measure positive, negative
(vacuum), or differential pressures of clean, dry air and other
non-conductive, non-corrosive gases. It converts these pressure
measurements into a standard two-wire 4-20 mA DC output signal,
making it compatible with most industrial control systems.
Available in multiple factory-calibrated models (including 607-1,
607-3B, 607-8) with measurement ranges from 0-0.10" W.C. to 0-25"
W.C., this transmitter utilizes a variable capacitance transducer
with a micro-machined, ultra-thin silicon diaphragm. This design
eliminates the need for epoxies or organic seals, ensuring
exceptional stability, minimal drift, and resistance to
overpressure, shock, and vibration. Part of Dwyer’s low-range
pressure measurement solutions (alongside Series 608 and 668), it
is engineered for reliable performance in demanding low-pressure
applications.
Features
Precise Low-Range Measurement: Capable of measuring very low
pressures, with ranges from 0-0.10" W.C. to 0-25" W.C., ideal for
applications requiring fine pressure control.
Stable Performance: Utilizes a variable capacitance transducer with
a micro-machined silicon diaphragm and no organic seals, ensuring
exceptional stability (±0.5% of full span/year) and minimal drift.
Durable Construction: Housed in 300 Series stainless steel (NEMA 2
rating), providing protection against environmental factors and
ensuring longevity in industrial settings.
Wide Compatibility: Designed for use with clean, dry air and
non-conductive, non-corrosive gases, making it suitable for diverse
industrial and commercial applications.
Standard Output Signal: Delivers a two-wire 4-20 mA DC output
signal, enabling seamless integration with standard control systems
and data acquisition tools.
Overpressure Resistance: Highly resistant to overpressure, shock,
and vibration, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging
conditions.
Flexible Power Supply: Operates on an unregulated 12-36 VDC power
supply, adapting to various electrical setups.
Temperature Tolerance: Functions in operating temperatures from -20
to 160°F (-29 to 71°C) and is temperature-compensated between 35 to
135°F (2 to 57°C), maintaining accuracy across varying
environments.
Easy Adjustment: Features externally accessible, non-interactive
zero and span adjustments (±10% of full span), facilitating on-site
calibration if needed.
Quick Response: Boasts a response time of 250 msec, ensuring timely
measurement updates for dynamic pressure conditions.
Practical Design: Equipped with 4" barbed stainless steel pressure
connections for secure tubing attachment, and weighs 14 oz (397 g)
for easy installation.
