KMC 770 Digital Auto Car Paint Thickness Meter
Product Introduction
The KMC 770 is a high-precision coating thickness tester designed
for non-destructive measurement of paint, galvanized layers, and
plastic films on metal surfaces. It uses advanced technology to
automatically identify ferromagnetic (iron, nickel, cobalt) and
non-ferromagnetic (aluminum, copper) substrates, making it ideal
for quality control in automotive, manufacturing, and chemical
industries. With a measurement range of 0–2000μm and ±(2.5% + 1μm)
accuracy, the device ensures reliable data for second-hand car
inspections, material testing, and commodity inspection.
Product Features
Dual-Probe Technology:
Ruby-tipped probe automatically identifies iron/aluminum substrates
for seamless switching between measurements.
Measures non-conductive coatings on metal and non-ferromagnetic
coatings on ferromagnetic metals.
High Precision & Speed:
±(2.5% + 1μm) accuracy with a measurement speed of 2 times/second.
Suitable for thin films (e.g., car paint) and thick coatings (up to
2000μm).
Environment Resistance:
Operates reliably in -10°C–50°C, maintaining accuracy in extreme
temperatures.
Red screen warning for out-of-range measurements.
User-Friendly Design:
Auto-shutoff for energy saving (no operation timeout).
Reversible screen for flexible measurement angles in tight spaces.
Compact size (114×53×25mm) and lightweight (80g) for portability.
Data Management:
Store and transfer measurement data to computers for analysis.
Ideal for batch testing and generating quality reports.
