1. General Introduction:

The vortex flowmeter operates on the "Karman vortex" principle, utilizing a piezoelectric crystal as the measuring element for flow measurement in various gases, steam, and liquids. The LUGB series of vortex flowmeters offers specifications ranging from DN15 to DN600, with two structural variants: full-tube vortex flowmeter and plug-in vortex flowmeter. The instrument provides different output signals, including pulse output mode sensors and standard current output transmitters.

Key features of the vortex flowmeter include a wide flow measurement range, high accuracy, simple structure, minimal pressure loss, and the absence of moving parts. It is suitable for measuring instantaneous flow and total flow in a closed pipeline.

Advantages:

Measurement is independent of fluid density, viscosity, humidity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity.
No obstructive parts in the measuring tube, resulting in low requirements for the straight part of the tube.
The sensor with a grounded electrode ensures effective grounding.
