KSS521 Infrared SF6 Gas Sensor Module
1. OverviewSF6 gas is widely used as an insulating medium and arc extinguishing gas in power equipment, especially in high-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, transformers, capacitors, arresters, fuses, etc. If leakage occurs, the pressure of the equipment is reduced and the insulation capacity is reduced; Pollute and destroy the atmospheric environment, increase the greenhouse effect; Accumulation in low-level spaces, resulting in accidents such as lack of oxygen in the brains of staff and even rapid asphyxiation; Under the influence of partial discharge, high temperature and other factors, SF6 gas will produce highly toxic decomposition substances such as SF4, SF2, SOF2, etc. KSS521 is a gas sensor module using NDIR infrared absorption detection principle, which determines the concentration according to the absorption of SF6 gas at 10.5um. KSS521 adopts MEMS light source, special structure optical cavity and dual-channel detector to realize space dual optical path reference compensation, and microprocessor for signal acquisition, processing and output. KSS521 is small in size, low power consumption, and has UART, 485 (Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, Modbus custom optional) and single-bus digital interface, providing digital calibration zero and sensitivity functions, and providing manual calibration zero function. KSS521 can be widely used in SF6 gas leak detection and other occasions SF6 gas concentration analysis in the power industry.
