Mechanical Setting Retrievable Packer High Pressure RTTS Packer
The RTTS Packer is a kind of full bore retrievable packer, the RTTS
packers are applied for oil and gas well testing,
treating, and squeeze cementing operations. The full opening design
allows unrestricted fluid flow and tool movement through the tubing
bore. A pressure balanced bypass valve worked with RTTS packer is
the RTTS circulating valve to held open when running and
retrieving, prevents swabbing effect. The valve also allows debris
to be washed from the top of the packer when releasing. The bypass
valve is held closed by pressure from below and in turn helps
prevent upward movement of tubing.
The RTTS packer is consist of a J-slot mechanism, mechanical slips,
packing element, and hydraulic slips. Large, The packer is equipped
with the drag block, which helps make the tool usable for
multiple operations with one trip in the hole-such as perforate,
test, treat, squeeze, perforate, etc.
