Introudction of Retrievable Casing Packer

The Retrievable Casing Packer is a sort of hook-wall full bore packer. The packer is designed with J slot and mechanical setting. The full opening design of the RTTS Packer allows unrestricted fluid flow and tool movement through the tubing bore.  The RTTS circulating valve as the bypass valve is held closed by pressure from below and in turn helps prevent upward movement of tubing. A pressure balanced bypass valve which is held open when running and retrieving, prevents swabbing effect. The valve also allows debris to be washed from the top of the packer when releasing.

Erect the tool with the bottom facing downward, now the lug on setting mandrel should be in the top of the J-slot, do not rotate the tool, push the drag block sleeve up, then the lug on setting mandrel should be in the bottom of the short slot, release the drag block sleeve quickly, it should be no obstacle when falling, check all the slips for free moving, then turn the drag block sleeve to right about 30Degree(1/12 TURN),push the drag block sleeve up, now the slips should open completely, release the drag block sleeve quickly, the slips should be back completely. The slips should slip freely along the groove during the process. The lug on the setting mandrel should slip freely along the J-Slot, there should be no obstacle.
