Blue Max™ High-Performance Control CableFor Tight Routing, High Load, and Harsh EnvironmentsEngineered for the most demanding applications, the Blue Max™ push-pull control cable delivers exceptional performance in routing-limited, high-temperature, and corrosive environments. With its ultra-flexible 4" minimum bend radius and low-friction PTFE lining, it enables smooth and reliable motion control where traditional cables fail. Whether you're integrating into off-highway machinery, marine controls, or military-grade equipment, Blue Max™ ensures consistent motion, reduced backlash, and maximum service life — even under heavy load and extreme routing complexity. Key Features at a Glance
When to Choose Blue Max™Blue Max™ is not your typical control cable. It’s built for motion systems that: • Require tight-radius bends without compromising stroke • Operate in harsh conditions (heat, cold, vibration, fluids) • Face high-duty cycles with thousands of repeated motions • Demand ultra-low friction to prevent hand fatigue or
actuation lag Ideal industries: Construction machinery, marine throttle systems, rail vehicles,
mining equipment, emergency vehicle controls, and aerospace ground
systems. Cable Core:The Blue Max™ control cable uses a stainless steel stranded core matched to its 3" stroke and 4" bend radius. The core slides
within a PTFE liner, ensuring low-friction and extended service life under tight
routing conditions. Depending on application load and motion type, other strand constructions (e.g., solid wire or multi-strand) may be offered as part of OEM customization. Conduit Construction:• Inner tube: PTFE • Reinforcement: steel wire or monocoil wrap • Outer jacket: LDPE or Nylon, heat/chemical/UV-resistant All interfaces swaged or threaded per spec, tested for stroke
consistency, linear resistance, and end load capacity. Custom Options for OEM SystemsWe support full customization for: • Travel length • Cable housing length • End termination types (threaded, clevis, trunnion,
ball-joint) • Mounting styles (bulkhead, panel) • Stroke force optimization (by strand and liner selection) For OEM developers, we offer 3D models, installation drawings, and
engineering consultation — just send us your system schematic. Phidix Quality StandardsBlue Max™ is manufactured under strict IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
standards. Each batch undergoes: • Load stroke testing (0–3") under rated tension • Friction & hysteresis coefficient check • Salt spray test (up to 720h for marine use) • Bend endurance simulation (10,000+ cycles) Related Pages You Might Need• Custom Control Cable Design for OEMs • Push-Pull Inner Wire Core Options • PTFE-Lined Cable Structures Explained • Application Guide: Marine Throttle Systems Ask Our EngineersNot sure if Blue Max™ is the right cable for your system? |
