Scope of application:

This machine is suitable for the flammability test of various wire and cable insulation covering material PE, PVC and SRPVC. During the test, according to GB/t18380.11-2008 test standard. Vertical combustion test method

This standard specifies the experimental method and experimental requirements for the vertical combustion of a single insulated wire or cable under flame conditions.

The experimental method specified in this standard does not apply to a small line with a diameter of less than 0.8mm or less than 0.5mm2, because its conductor will be melted before the end of the experiment.

Before the test, all samples should be in the temperature of (23 + / - 5) ℃, relative humidity (50 + 20) % reach thermal equilibrium conditions (with at least 16 h).

If insulated wire or cable surface with paint or varnish coating, the specimen shall be placed under (60 + 2) ℃ temperature 4 h, then the above processing.
