Transparent Level Haze Meter Introduction Haze meter is also called Haze and Transmittance Test Machine
which measures the amount of light that is diffused or scattered
when passing through the transparent sample.Transparency is
important because a material needs to be more or less see-through
depending on its practical usage for example grocery bag needs
the light to be more diffused so that less can be seen,while food
packing film needs the light to be less diffused so that the
contents can be seen clearly.Haze meters are necessary to determine
which material is needed for which practical purpose. CS-700 haze meter is designed for plastic, films, glass, LCD panel,
touch screen and other transparent and semi-transparent materials
haze and transmittance measurement. Haze Meter Working Principle When a beam of parallel light hits the sample and enters the
integrating sphere, it is scattered on the sphere inner white
coating, the total transmittance is measured when the optical trap
outlet on the sphere is closed. When the optical trap is opened,
haze will be measured. Haze Meter Advantage 1). It can realize transmittance compensation measurement which can
provide higher accuracy test result. 2). Open measurement area, no limit on sample size. Vertical measurement is also available. 3). Different fixtures to meet the measurement requirement for sheet material and liquid in different shapes. 4). Instrument is with free PC software for haze and transmittance measurement.
