IEC60754‐1 Halogen Acid Gas Release Measurement Tester for Cable

Meets the standards:

It conforms to the standards of GB/T17650.1-1998, GB/T17650.2-1998 and IEC60754‐1:1994, IEC60754‐2:1991; it also satisfies the GB/T19666‐2005 “General Rules for Flame Retardant and Fire-resistant Wire and Cable”. Table 6 regulations and GA306.1-2007 Section 6.3.4, GA306.2-2007 Section 6.3.4, UL2556-2007 Sections 9.10 and 9.11 requirements.

Scope of application:

It is applicable to the determination of the total amount of halogen acid gas in low-halogen and halogen-free flame-retardant cables and the determination of the acidity of gases by measuring PH value and conductivity.

Equipment composition:

Specifications:

- Tubular furnace: The effective length and diameter of the heating chamber are 600×ф42mm, equipped with an adjustable electric heating system. Heating power: 220V /10KW

Combustion tube:

- Material: Refractory pipe made of silica, resistant to corrosive gas.

- Specifications: The inner diameter is 40mm, the length extending from the inlet side of the tube furnace is 60~200mm, and the length extending from the outlet side is 60~100mm, leaving a gap for thermal expansion.

Burning boat:

- Material: Use fused quartz tube.

- Specifications: length 100mm, width 25mm, depth 10mm.

- Combustion boat feeding method: using bar magnet and platinum wire pulling method.

Gas collection:

- Two selected bottles are used: one of which is equipped with a magnetic stirrer and contains 220 mL of sodium hydroxide solution.
