1. Scope of application:
Composite insulator hydrophobic live detector is a new type of
insulator hydrophobic online detection. It is suitable for on-line
detection of the hydrophobicity of composite insulators of
transmission lines of 110kV and above voltage levels, and is also
suitable for the hydrophobicity detection experiments and factory
testing of various composite insulators and silicone rubbers, and
is also suitable for the hydrophobicity detection of RTV spraying
materials of magnetic insulators.
2.Detection principle:
The hydrophobic state of composite insulators is judged according
to the water spray classification method of the Swedish
Transmission Research Institute (STRI). Based on advanced digital
image processing technology, the hydrophobic state of composite
insulators is objectively judged by extracting gray information
such as information entropy, seed rate, and mean spectral amplitude
of hydrophobic images, as well as the shape coefficient and area
percentage of water droplets or water traces.
3. Compliance with standards:
It meets the requirements of the test standard of DL/T864-201
"Guidelines for the Use of Composite Insulators for AC Overhead
Lines with Nominal Voltage Higher than 1000V".
