ISO 9151 TPP Protective Clothing Convective Heat Testing Machine BS
EN 367 Product Description: Heat transfer index is calculated from the mean time in seconds to
achieve a temperature rise of 24±0.2℃ when testing by this method
using a copper disc and a starting temperature of 25±5℃. The heat
transfer index provides a method of grading materials which does
not imply that the material tested will give any precise protective
time under actual use conditions. Standards: ISO 9151 BS EN 367 Principle: Place the sample on the sample holder, heat the sample with a radiant heat source with fixed heat flux, and test the time required for the temperature of the temperature sensor on the back of the sample to rise to a certain temperature. The radiant heat source consists of 6 silicon-carbon heating tubes placed horizontally on a U-shaped insulating support. The total length of the silicon-carbon tubes is (356±2) mm, the length of the heating zone is (178±2) mm, and the diameter is (7.9± 0.1)mm, resistance (1070℃) is 3.6Ω±10%.
