Intended Use

The Multi-drug test is rapid chromatographic immunoassays for the qualitative and simultaneous detection of the following drugs in a variety of combinations in human urine. The designed cutoff concentrations and direct calibrator for these drugs are as follows:

The test is used to obtain visual qualitative result and is intended for health care professionals use including professionals at point of care sites to assist in the determination of drug compliance. It is not intended for over the counter sale to non-professionals.

This assay provided only a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternative chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) or Liquid Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS) are the preferred confirmatory method. Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug of abuse test result, particularly when preliminary positive results are indicated.

Storage

• The kit should be stored at 2-30°C until the expiry date printed on the sealed pouch.

• The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use.

• Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.

• Do not freeze.

• Care should be taken to protect the components of the kit from contamination. Do not use if there is evidence of microbial contamination or precipitation. Biological contamination of dispensing equipment, containers or reagents can lead to false results.

Direction of Use

Test must be in room temperature (15ºC to 30ºC)

1. Donor collects urine specimen in a urine cup.

2. Open the sealed pouch by tearing along the notch. Remove the test cassette or cup from the pouch and place it on a level surface.

3. Testing:

Dip the sample pad area of the dipstick strip or dipstick card in the urine specimen submerging only up to the“MAX” mark of the dipstick strip or the edge of the dipstick card.

4. The result should be read within 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
