Dengue NS1 & IgGIgM Rapid Test Kit
【DENGUE INTRODUCTION】 Dengue is a viral infection transmitted to humans through the bite of infected mosquitoes. Severe dengue is a leading cause of serious illness and death in some Asian and Latin American countries. It requires management by medical professionals.
【RAPID TEST INTENDED USE】 This dengue rapid test is available as an antigen-capture immunochromatographic test cassette. This in vitro assay is for the qualitative detection of Dengue NS1 antigen &IgGIgM in human serum, plasma and/or whole blood samples. The test is intended for professional use as a tool in the diagnosis of dengue virus infections.
【RAPID TEST ADVANTAGES】 Results ready in 10 minutes Easy to use, Can be used with whole blood, serum, or plasma samples Cost-effective test kit for the detection of Hepatitis B core antibodies
【MAIN CONTENTS】 Individually sealed foil pouches containing a test cassette with desiccant Disposable pipettes Buffer Insert
【OPERATION】 1. Bring tests, specimens, buffer and/or controls to room temperature (15-30°C)before use. 2. Remove the test from its sealed pouch, and place it on a clean, level surface. Label the device with patient or control identification. For best results, the assay should be performed within one hour. NS1Antigen: Using the provided disposable pipette, transfer 2 drops of Serum or Plasma specimen into the center of the specimenwell(s) of the test cassette. OR Transfer1drop of Whole Blood specimen into the center of the specimen well(s) of the test cassette, then add 1 drop of buffer, and start the timer. IgG/IgM Antibody: Transfer1drop of sample into the center of the specimen well(s) of the test cassette, then add 1 drop of buffer, and start the timer. 3.Wait for the colored band(s) to appear. The result should be read at 15minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
【DENGUE TEST RESULT INTERPRETATION】 NEGATIVE RESULT: If only the C line develops, the result is negative or non-reactive.
POSITIVE RESULT: If both the C and the T lines develop, the result is positive or reactive.
INVALID: If no C line develops, the assay is invalid regardless of any color development on the T line as indicated below. Repeat the assay with a new device.
【STORAGE AND STABILITY】 The kit should be stored at 2-30°C until the expiry date is printed on the sealed pouch. The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Do not freeze. Care should be taken to protect the components of the kit from contamination. Do not use it if there is evidence of microbial contamination or precipitation. Biological contamination of dispensing equipment, containers, or reagents can lead to false results.
