I. Application of VFD-R
The state of transformer oil and cellulose insulation is one of the
key parameters influencing equipment life expectancy and
reliability.
The aging rate of insulating materials depends on different
parameters such as:
– Original insulation material quality
– Oil temperature
– Moisture content
– Oxygen content
– Acids from oil degradation
Oil Regeneration should be the first option to consider in any
transformer maintenance programme.
NSH VFD-R Oil Reclamation System works by removing acids, sludge
and other oxidation products, the aging rate of the oil and its
effect on insulating materials is mitigated.

III. Advantages of VFD-R
- NSH VFD-R Transformer Oil Regeneration Plant can deal with high
voltage oil from above 110KV, 500KV, and 1000KV, etc. All
insulating oil like used transformer oil, mutual inductor oil,
switch oil and so on can be totally regenerated from used oil to be
new oil by VFD-R series. As an important and necessary on-site
transformer oil cleaning and transformer maintenance system, this
plant can inject oil into the transformers on-line too. And it can
be used as an independent vacuum resource plant to vacuuming
transformers very fast.
- Besides the normal functions, the VFD-R series can also be used as
transformer oil fillinging device and vacuuming unit(Optional).
- When the transformer oil is no need to be regenerated, it can be
used as vacuum dehydration system.
