DescriptionThis is a high precision planetary gearbox stepper motor which is assembled from a range of 35mm (NEMA14) square hybrid stepper motors and cylindrical planetary gearboxes. Motor lengths for this product generally range from 32.4 to 56.7mm, and special lengths can be customised. The longer the length, the higher the torque of the motor. In addition, there are two options for the stepping angle of the motor. 0.9 degrees and 1.8 degrees, with the more common stepping angle being 1.8 degrees. Reduction gearboxes are also available in many different speed ratios from 3.71 to 3729.5. Reduction gearboxes with different speed ratios have different gear stages and of course different lengths, the longer the length the lower the efficiency. As the efficiency of transmitting torque varies with the number of gear stages in the gearbox, the main factors such as assembly space, required speed and torque should be considered first when selecting a motor and gearbox. When the motor meets all these specifications, it can be initially sized and then specific details such as exit connections and output shaft shape can be considered.
