Designed as air aspirating discharge devices, foam generator is used principally for the protection of dikes, open floating-roof storage tanks, and rim seals, where low-velocity foam streams are desired. Foam generator generally is installed in the line of a semi-fixed or fixed foam fire-protection system, mounted either horizontally or vertically.
Technical parameters
Foam generator's feature of all-brass construction is for using in harsh and corrosive environments. Foam generator air inlets is covered with stainless mesh, and supplied with standard NPT threaded inlets and outlets. Winan foam generator is horizontally fixed at the top of the
tank wall, and it's a foam extinguishing equipment producing and
jetting air. Foam fire truck or a fixed fire pump supply the
mixture flow through the pipeline throught the bubble generator,
and format the air bubble to put out oil fire. Foam generator is
mainly composed of air bubble generator body, foam nozzle and guide
group. When foam mixture liquid throught the foam generator nozzle,
atomizing jet diffussion and produce negative pressure in its
surrounding thus inhalation air to create foam, the foam liquid
flow directly to the surfance of fire through guide group, cover
the surface of liquid using bubble cooling to put out the fire.
