Temperature Protector The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates the internal contacts, ultimately controlling circuit connections. KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types Manual Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When
temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the
movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed
point, contacts cannot reset until the reset button is pressed
manually. This allows circuit reconnection and restart.
Auto Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When
temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the
movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed
