The 23NG23 power supply feed the +5 V DC(U1)andthe+24VDC(U2)foranRTU232subrack.Thereis only one version (rubric) required. Processing function: The 23NG23 board has a fixed location in eachRTU232 subrack. This is slot 1 and 5. The auxiliary process voltage output UP(F2)is notused within the RTU232 system and not wired withinthe subrack. The primary fuse is placed on the right side of thepower supply. lf an output voltage is lost the qreenLED is off. Replace onlythe same type offuse to prevent power. The power supply is switched by the ON-OFF switch(S1) on the front plate. Total power outputThe 23NG23 supplies a total output of approx.41.8 W. This is split to:+5 V and 5000 mA= 25 W+ 24Vand 700 mA=16.8 W Use Table 1:to calculate the total load for subrackconfigurations. +5 V DC Basic load A basic load of minimum 232 mAis requested toregulate the 24 V DC in the range spezified in theechnical Data. The 24 V DC drops below the specified tolerancerange,whennoloadornotenoughloadintakenfromthe +5 VDC SettingsNo settings required.
