Product:General Electric IC200CHS025 compact spring-style Input / Output carrier

The IC200CHS025 is a compact spring-style Input / Output carrier with 36 IEC box-style terminals. It is manufactured by GE Fanuc for the VersaMax family. The IC200CHS025 is tasked with providing backplane communications, field wiring, and mounting for one I/O module.

The IC200CHS025 easily snaps onto a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. For the purposes of providing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), the DIN rail must be electrically grounded. The DIN rail should have a conductive corrosion-resistant unpainted finish. For maximum resistance to mechanical vibration and shock, the IC200CHS025 must also be panel-mounted.

Features of this item include dialing keys that ensure correct installations of the carrier’s module; keys that always match the keys at the bottom of the module; and connectors used in mating between carriers to enhance backplane installations connection without the need for more tools. A module latch hole assists in securing the module to the carrier.
