Modbus Plus PCI bus adapter with Plug and Play support. Single cable Modbus Plus port.

For applications that require high uptime, Modbus Plus cable redundancy is offered on the dual cable PCI interface. Redundant cable capability permits Modbus Plus to communicate over two independent cables, testing the integrity of both cables with every message. Should one cable fail, the system automatically switches over to the other and the faulty cable is flagged both in statistics and visually on the interface card. This system allows a network or plants to continue operation even with a cable out of service.
