FeaturesSingle point load cells are one of the main types of load cells and are most commonly used in small to medium sized platform weighing applications. This insensitivity to out-of-center loads is a function known as "force-time compensation". The ability to use only one load cell instead of four makes single point load cells a very economical solution for dozens of applications, including but not limited to: weight scales, bench scales, platform scales, hopper and container weighing, parts counting, packaging scales, inspection weighing, OEM products, retail scales, conveyor scales, production processes, low cost applications, and medical scales.
