Introduction of straight knife grinder

Straight knife grinder is designed for grinding blades in copper wire granulator or plastic crusher etc which edge blunt. It is one of accessory products which can enhance working efficiency of crusher. Meanwhile it also can sharpen woodworking machine tool or other straight blade. 

Straight knife grinder is composed by the airframe, working table, straight orbit, reducer, motor and electric parts. It is designed according to plastic crusher bits easy to loss which is specially used in sharpening the crusher bits. It has compact structure, comfortable outlook, high efficiency, easy control, is suitable for sharpening and processing each kind of straight edge cutting tool. It is composed of machine frame, operating platform, slide carriage, reduction motor, grinding head, electrical equipment. It is suit for our PP/PE/PET crusher.

Operation step of straight knife grinder

1. Put the knife on the cutting table, adjust the protrusion of the knife to about 0.5-1.0cm, and the protrusion of both ends of the knife should be the same, which can be fine adjusted with jackscrew. Turn on the magnetization switch of the electromagnetic device button to make the knife adsorb on the knife table. Adjust the position of the angle between the grinding wheel and the blade. If the blade contacts the grinding wheel, turn the feed hand wheel to separate it.

2. Turn on the power, turn on the power switch, and the machine will enter the normal working state.

3. Rotate the feed hand wheel to make the blade slowly and evenly move inward until it contacts with the grinding wheel. Adjust the contact tightness between the blade and the grinding wheel to make the grinding wheel and the blade work well.
