In a large number of practical research and use, it is expected to replace lanthanum aluminate (LaAlO3) and barium titanate (SrTiO3) for giant magnets and superconducting devices.

LSAT (La, Sr) (Al, Ta) O3 is a new non-perovskite crystal twinning.LSAT with a variety of high-temperature superconductors and oxide materials have good match. LSAT low melting point, with the Czochralski method, the cost is relatively low. Thus, it is expected to replace LaAlO3/SrTiO3 as an epitaxial oxide thin monocrystalline substrate giant magnets are widely used in electrical and superconducting devices.
