Copper Inlaid Tungsten EDM Electrode Description
Copper Inlaid Tungsten EDM Electrode is an electrode for resistance
welding, which is mainly composed of copper and tungsten
(molybdenum, tungsten copper, silver tungsten). The
high-temperature stability and hardness of tungsten, together with
the electrical and thermal conductivity of copper, give this
electrode excellent resistance to high temperatures, high currents,
and high loads. Copper Inlaid Tungsten EDM Electrode is mainly
composed of electrode rod and electrode surface. Tungsten is used
as the electrode end, and the rod is made of copper or
chrome-zirconium copper, which has high electrical conductivity,
high heat dissipation, wear resistance, fast welding speed and High
precision, good thermal stability, strong anti-current corrosion
performance, long service life and other excellent characteristics.
Copper Inlaid Tungsten EDM Electrode is widely used in
high-temperature welding fields such as arc welding, plasma
welding, and electron beam welding. It is also often used in
various welding equipment such as electronic spot welding machines,
butt welding machines, hot presses, and ultrasonic welding
machines.
