What is Heavy Tungsten Alloy Balance Weight- Heavy tungsten alloys are mainly divided into W nickel iron series,
W nickel copper series, and even W nickel iron copper series. In
contrast, western nickel-iron alloys have better mechanical
properties and play an important role in the defense industry and
various fields of the national economy. It is a very important new
type of military material in the defense industry, and has
gradually expanded to various civilian industries.
- Heavy tungsten alloys contain 90-98% tungsten, which is the reason
for their high density (16.5-19.00g/CC). Nickel, iron and/or copper
are used as metal binder bases to hold the brittle tungsten
particles together, making tungsten alloys malleable and easy to
work with. Nickel-Iron-Nickel is the most commonly used additive in
a ratio of 7Ni:3Fe or 8Ni:2Fe (by weight).

volume is much smaller than other materials of the same quality.
- Corrosion resistance: Tungsten alloy has stable chemical properties
and will not react with any substances at room temperature. The
salvaged sinker is in contact with water for a long time, and if it
is an iron material, it is easily oxidized.
- High hardness: The hardness of tungsten alloy is second only to
diamond, and its hardness is quite high. During use, fishing gear
inevitably collides with hard objects. The high hardness of this
material will make the salvage countersunk less likely to break and
deform.
