95WNiFe ASTM B777 High Density Tungsten Alloy Block
Tungsten Alloy Block has comprehensive excellent properties such as
high density, high strength and high hardness (commonly known as 3H
alloy), as well as good ductility, conductivity and thermal
conductivity. It plays an important role in weapons manufacturing.
Then it is widely used in national defense industry, aerospace and
civil industry (such as electrical industry, drilling industry,
etc.). High gravity tungsten alloy material has become a kind of
military and civil alloy material.

Introduction & Features of Tungsten Alloy Block
Tungsten Alloy Block is mainly divided into W-Ni-Fe and W-Ni-Cu,
even W-Ni-Fe-Cu two series. In contrast, W-Ni-Fe alloy has better
mechanical properties and plays a great role in various fields of
defense industry and national economy. It is a very important new
military material in national defense industry and has been
gradually extended to various civil industries.
The tungsten content in tungsten heavy alloys varies between 90%
and 98%, which accounts for their high density (16.5 to 19.00
g/cc). Nickel, iron and/or copper are used as metal binder
substrates to hold fragile tungsten particles together, making
tungsten alloys tough and easy to use. Ferric nickel Nickel is the
most commonly used additive with a ratio of 7Ni:3Fe or 8Ni:2Fe (by
weight).
Application of Tungsten Alloy Block
- Die casting is a kind of precision casting process with less chips
and no chips, which can directly manufacture components with
complex shapes. Process sheet, high yield, no holes and saving raw
materials. Especially in ferrous metal die casting, the working
conditions of phase I die are very harsh. It must withstand the
scouring of high temperature, high pressure and metal flow, and can
resist corrosion, oxidation and thermal shock. High specific
gravity tungsten alloy is a good die casting die material because
of its good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. Compared
with copper die, it can improve the service life by tens of times.
