Invar 36/4J36 sheet/plate precision alloy , invar 36 plate invar 36 sheet
Invar 36 has a low coefficient of expansion from cryogenic temperatures to about 260°C. It is also retains good strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures. Invar 36 is used to making aerospace composites, standards of length, measuring devices, thermostat rods, laser components, clock pendulums and tanks and piping for the storage and transportation of liquefied gases. Features: Invar 36 is a 36% nickel-iron alloy notable for its uniquely low coefficient of thermal expansion which is roughly one-tenth that of carbon steel in the range from room temperature to around 200ºC. It also retains good strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures. It can be hot and cold formed and machined using processes similar to austenitic stainless steels Applications Commonly employed in electronic equipment such as radios, laser systems and thermostats. Density: 0.293 Density: 8.11g/cm3 Coefficient of Expansion: 1.5um/m'C(at 20-100'C) 2.6um/m'C(at 20-200'C) Thermal Conductivity: 10.0 Melting Point: 1430'C Inflection Point: 220'C Invar 36 plate Picture; |
