About tempered glass
Tempered glass is manufactured through tempering process, with good mechanical property and heat resistance. It has a compressive stress layer on the surface, forming high pressure resistance.
Tempered glass’s compressive stress is 95 MPA when subjecting to external forces. And the layer can offset certain tensile stress to improve bearing capacity. Tempered glass’s bending strength is 3-5times stronger than normal glass. If the glass is broken, it will cause less damage to people.
