Equipment maintenance

The main equipment for pressing is the pressure roller, and the focus of equipment maintenance is to ensure the normal operation of each pressure roller.

(1) After stopping, check the wear of the pressure roller, and check all kinds of rollers, felt correction and tensioning devices, as well as the roller bearings, pressure devices, and pressure roller scrapers. For the use of vacuum press and vacuum paper roll, check the jam of the roll hole and the state of the vacuum suction system, and deal with any problems in time.

(2) The lower pressure roller should be ground regularly according to the operating conditions of various paper machines, usually about 4-6 months; the upper pressure roller has a longer grinding cycle, about once a year. Other rollers and ancillary equipment must be overhauled during overhaul.

(3) All kinds of rollers and bearings, doctor blades, hoses and gaskets for vacuum pressing must have certain spare parts, and the quantity depends on the type of paper machine.

(4) The equipment in the press section must be kept clean, the transmission part must be kept flexible, and the bearings must be lubricated.
