Product Description
An apron feeder for use in the heavy bulk materials industry
includes a feeder frame, a head drive shaft, a pair of tail
traction wheels, and a plurality of carry and return rollers. A
pair of drive sprockets is mounted on the head drive shaft. The
tail traction wheels are aligned with the drive sprockets,
respectively.
These Apron Feeders are particularly well adapted to provide
solutions for the conveying of moist and sticky bulk materials,
such as clay, gypsum, anhydrite, and pozzolana among others, as the
slightly arched plates of the Apron Feeder allow cohesive materials
to be scraped off easily.
It enjoy the advantage such as traction, less leakage of material,
operation smoothly, longer service life and maintenance easily.
Working Principle
The apron feeder conveyor is a series of conveying equipment that
carries a solid moving material to support the bulk solid material
by a series of metal phosphor plates supported on the roller chain.
Phosphor plate conveyors are available in three types: horizontal,
inclined and horizontally inclined. The working principle is
basically the same. The movement of materials is formed by the
phosphor plate. The slat conveyor mechanism is simple, has a wide
application range, has a high conveying capacity, low running
resistance, convenient installation and maintenance, and long
service life. It can not only be transported horizontally, but also
can be conveyed obliquely; it can be multi-point feeding, and the
equipment process layout is flexible.

Selection equipment model requirements:
(1) Plate width series: B=650mm, 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm; two
applications of B=800mm and 1000mm are widely used;
(2) The weight of transporting a single object: generally 75kg, and
the Max can be as large as 120-150kg;
(3) The length of the conveyor: generally 60-120m, and the max
length can reach 200m;
(4) Conveyor Running speed: v=0.8, 0.96, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.4, 3.0
m/min;
(5) Lifting height of the conveyor: Max can reach 10m;
(6) For all kinds of materials, the conveyor has a large allowable
inclination of 25 degrees.
