Introduction

Heavy Tungsten Alloy are made of tungsten base (tungsten content is generally 80% ~ 98%) and a small amount of nickel, iron, copper and other elements. The density of high specific gravity tungsten alloy can reach 15.20 ~ 18.70g/cm3, which is also known as high specific gravity tungsten alloy or high density alloy material. Because tungsten alloy weighs more than twice as much as steel.

Application

Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy has been widely used as the main tungsten-base heavy alloy.For general applications, such as counterweights, shielding devices, etc., where sintered alloy are directly used;However, for applications where requires high mechanical properties, tungsten nickel-iron alloy alloys need deformation processing and heat treatment to achieve strengthening.

 

Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of gyroscope rotors, guiding devices and shock absorption devices used in aviation and aerospace field.Die-casting die, tool holder, boring bar and automatic watch hammer for mechanical manufacturing;Cartridge cores for conventional weapons, riveting heads and switch contacts for electrical products;In addition, it is also used to manufacture shielding components for various rays.
