ZXMP S385 provides large-capacity high- and low-level crossover
capabilities, with abundant equipment service slots. It can
provide multi-channel ECC processing capability, which fully meets
the requirements of complex networking. Support
STM-1/STM-4/STM-16/STM-64 level linear network, ring network, hub
network, ring belt chain, tangent ring and intersecting ring and
other complex network topologies.
2. Powerful multi-service access capability
ZXMP S385 system provides a wealth of business interfaces:
STM-64/STM-16/STM-4/STM-1 optical interface; STM-1 electrical
interface; E3/T3 electrical interface; E1/T1 electrical interface
(supporting frame processing ); POS interface, ATM interface,
FE/GE Ethernet interface and SAN interface. For Ethernet services,
there are multiple bearer methods such as EOS, embedded RPR and
embedded MPLS, which can form Ethernet private line services (EPL),
Ethernet virtual private line services (EVPL), Ethernet
private LAN services (EPLAN), and Ethernet virtual private LAN
service (EVPLAN), etc., to meet various technical needs of
different networking environments.
3. High reliability and perfect equipment protection
ZXMP S385 provides complete equipment-level protection: redundant
design is adopted in the hardware, and a dual-bus structure is
adopted for service bus, overhead bus, and clock bus, which greatly
improves the reliability and stability of the system. Two
cross-connect clock boards are used to realize 1+1 protection of
the cross-connect clock. PDH service single board realizes 1:N
hardware service protection: E1/T1 service single board realizes
1:N protection, E3/T3, STM-1 electrical port and FE electrical
port can also achieve 1:N protection. A variety of protection
methods such as power protection outside the cabinet, single board
power protection and subrack power access protection are realized.
4. Complete and intelligent network protection
ZXMP S385 supports complete network-level protection: it can
realize the network features recommended by ITU-T. The protection
methods include: 1+1 link multiplex section protection, support
link 1:N protection, one-way channel protection ring, two Fiber
bidirectional multiplex section protection ring, four-fiber
bidirectional multiplex section protection ring function, dual node
interconnection protection (DNI), subnet connection protection
(SNCP), logical subnet protection (LSNP).
ZXMP S385 has powerful intelligent features, supports automatic
discovery of network topology and resources, automatic end-to-end
business rapid configuration, resistance to network failures;
supports multiple priority business protection and recovery
strategies. Support online conversion of connection (PC) and soft
connection/switch connection (SPC/SC), and support distributed
recoverable rerouting protection. Implement ASON OUNI-C, OUNI-N and
I-NNI functions; support control plane functions, support in-band
and out-of-band SCN, and in-band and out-of-band MCN functions.
As a 2.5G system, ZXMP S385 can be smoothly upgraded to a 10G
system. While performing high-speed service scheduling, a large
number of low-level services can be scheduled and up and down. The
system design uses advanced technologies such as GFP and LCAS to
support data- and voice-oriented hybrid transmission to ensure the
continuous extension of data service scheduling and processing
capabilities. ZXMP S385 equipment supports single board mixed
insertion, which is convenient for business configuration and
network planning optimization. All system operations are forward
interfaces, which brings convenience to maintenance.
The optical module used is pluggable (SFP module, LC connector) and
supports ALS function; different optical boards can share spare
parts to reduce costs. Supports online optical power detection of
all optical ports, which is convenient for quickly locating line
problems and improving maintenance efficiency.
