Product description
Screw conveyors are equipment that continuously convey materials in
a closed or open trough by means of the rotation of screw blades
driven by a motor. They are classified into horizontal, inclined
and vertical types according to their structure and can convey
granular, powdered and small block materials. They are widely used
in fields such as grain, mining and building materials. They have a
simple structure, occupy a small area and have good sealing
performance. However, they are not suitable for materials that are
prone to adhesion or large and hard blocks to avoid blade jamming.
Working principle
The core working principle of the screw conveyor is as follows: The
motor drives the screw shaft to rotate. The blades utilize the
axial thrust generated by the helical angle to continuously push
the materials in the material trough towards the discharge port,
thereby achieving the continuous transportation of materials from
the feed end to the discharge end. Its essence is to convert the
rotational motion of the spiral blades into the linear motion of
the material along the axis of the material trough. During this
process, the material remains relatively stationary due to its own
gravity and the friction of the material trough, and is only pushed
forward by the blades.

1. Simple structure: mainly composed of spiral blades, material
troughs and drive motors. It has few components, is easy to install
and maintain, and occupies a small area, saving space.
2. Good sealing performance: mostly adopts a closed material trough
design, which can effectively prevent dust from flying or leakage,
especially suitable for transporting materials with a lot of dust
and unpleasant odors.
3. Stable conveying: can achieve continuous conveying in
horizontal, inclined or even vertical directions. The material flow
is easy to control, and is suitable for the automation connection
of production lines.
