Product description
Direct discharge screen is a kind of equipment commonly used for
screening granular materials. Its main body is usually a
cylindrical or square screen box, with multiple layers of screens
inside. After the materials enter from the feeding port at the top
of the equipment, they move forward along the screen surface in a
straight line under the dual action of their own gravity and the
vibration of the screens. Fine particles smaller than the screen
hole diameter pass through the screens and fall. The coarse
particles larger than the mesh diameter of the screen are
discharged from the discharge port at the end of the screen box. It
features high screening efficiency, compact structure and easy
operation, and is widely used in the material classification
treatment of the chemical, food, building materials and other
industries.
Working principle
1. Material input: Granular materials enter the screen box from the
feeding port at the top of the equipment and are evenly distributed
on the surface of the screen mesh.
2. Vibration drive: The vibration motors (or vibration devices) at
both ends of the screen box generate high-frequency vibrations,
driving the screen mesh to perform reciprocating motion along a
linear or elliptical trajectory.
3. Screening process: Under the effect of vibration, the materials
move forward in a straight line along the screen surface, while
colliding and rubbing against the screen mesh. Fine particles
smaller than the aperture of the screen pass through the screen and
fall, becoming the undersieved material. Coarse particles larger
than the pore size continue to move forward on the screen surface
and become the material on the screen.
4. Stratification and discharge: If it is a multi-layer screen
structure, the materials will pass through screens of different
pore sizes in sequence according to their particle sizes, achieving
multi-stage screening. Ultimately, the materials on and off the
screens at each level are discharged from the corresponding
discharge ports respectively, completing the material
classification.
