Two-Component Brushable Polyurea 801A
Technical Data Sheet
Description
801A brushable polyurea is a solvent-free, two-component,
hand-scrapable elastic polyurea material. It features strong
adhesion, high strength, good elasticity, bright and plump coating
film, excellent wear resistance, and low sensitivity to moisture.
Advantages
Convenient construction, no need for high-temperature and
high-pressure spraying equipment;
Solvent-free, environmentally friendly, and curable at room
temperature;
Excellent physical properties, with good adhesion to various
substrates;
Good leveling property, seamless coating, and smooth surface.
Application
801A brushable polyurea is mainly used in projects where spray
construction is difficult, serving as a substitute for spray
polyurea. It can also be used as a local repair material for spray
polyurea materials.

Surface Pretreatment
Before construction, the substrate surface must be clean, free of
oil, dust, etc. For metal substrates, sandblasting or manual
(mechanical) grinding is recommended to achieve a surface
cleanliness of Sa2.5 grade, followed by applying a matching
anti-rust primer. For concrete substrates, surface defects such as
cracks and hollowing should be repaired first, then a matching
primer should be applied. When used as a repair material for spray
polyurea, local repair with hand-applied polyurea can be conducted
immediately after the spray polyurea construction. For repairing
old coatings, the surface of the old coating should be ground first
before repair.
Coating Method
- Stir component B evenly (no sedimentation, uniform color) before
use.
- Accurately weigh components A and B at a weight ratio of 1:1.0,
mix them evenly manually or mechanically, and then proceed with
construction. (Mechanical stirring for 1-2 minutes is usually
sufficient.)
- Apply by hand scraping, and the maximum interval between coats
should not exceed 48 hours.
- Brushable polyurea is a reactive two-component coating. It should
be prepared and used immediately according to on-site needs to
avoid gelation and scrapping.
- The recommended thickness is 1-3mm (adjustable according to user
requirements), and the single-coat construction thickness is
suggested not to exceed 1mm.
Construction Precautions
- Strictly follow the proportion for preparation.
- The substrate temperature during construction should be at least
3℃ higher than the dew point.
- Unused component A should be sealed and stored after nitrogen
filling.
- This system has 100% solid content, and no more than 5% of the
total amount of special thinner is allowed to be added during
on-site construction for dilution.
- Ensure good ventilation when constructing in enclosed spaces.
Labor Protection
During the use of this product, labor protection equipment such as
work clothes, goggles, gloves, and gas masks must be worn. The
construction site should be well-ventilated, and fire sources
should be isolated and kept away from heat sources.

This product should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry
warehouse. It is strictly prohibited from being exposed to rain and
sunlight, and should be isolated from fire sources and kept away
from heat sources. The storage temperature should be 10-40℃.
Under the condition of unopened original packaging, the storage
period of this product is 6 months from the date of production. If
it exceeds the storage period, it can be inspected according to the
items specified in this product standard, and can still be used if
it meets the technical requirements.
This product contains no organic solvents and can be transported as
non-dangerous goods. It is strictly prohibited from being exposed
to rain and sunlight during transportation, and should comply with
the relevant regulations of the transportation department.
Declaration
The protective effect of any coating largely depends on the coating
construction. Construction factors such as surface treatment and
film thickness will directly affect the service life of the
coating. Users should meet the agreed construction conditions when
using this product.
Our company is only responsible for the quality of the coating
product itself.
