Widely Used Cobb Paper Water Absorbency Test Machine

Cobb water absorption tester is designed according to GB/T 1540-2002 Paper and board-Determination of water absorption-Cobb method ( equal to ISO 535-1991), which is used to test the absorbency of paper and cardboard, but not applied to evaluate the writing capability of paper and cardboard.

Technical parameters:

1. The cross-sectional area of the metal cylinder:100 ± 0.2 cm (the corresponding inner diameter is 112.8 ± 0.2mm)

2. the cylinder height :50mm, the contact surface of the cylinder ring and the specimen should be smooth.

3.the absorption rate :75mm / 10min. (When the single layer of absorbent paper is less than 200 ~ 250 g / m^2, you can use multi-layer stack to meet the requirements).

4. Smooth metal flat roller: roller length 200 ± 0.5mm, the quality should be 10 ± 0.5kg.
