API 6A Oil Well Casing Head with Casing Hanger for Wellhead Equipment

Casing Head, as the part of wellhead equipment, is the very important equipment used in drilling process, which is connected to the uppermost end of the surface casing.The casing head can control the wellhead pressure and have outlets to release any pressure as well, so the casing head can provide a pressure seal for subsequent casing strings placed in the well, the casing head allows suspension of intermediate casing strings and the production casing. There are The casing head are often welded or screwed on the top of the conductor pipe or the casing

The oil well casing heads are conformed with to API 6A specification, NACE MR-0175 standard, the casing head housing is the component of wellhead equipment and called wellhead "A"section, starting Head, lower-most housing or Braden head and connected with the wellhead Christimas treel. It is the first piece of wellhead component installed at bottom.

1.1	Casing head with one flange 350x350 atm – 339,7 mm (13 5/8” 5000 psi BX 160 x 13 3/8”). 1 piece of 65x350 (2-9/16” 5000 psi R-27 API 6A) gate valve is installed on the side outlets. For testing there must be 1 channel equipped with float valves between the parts of the casing head welded to 339,7 mm (13 3/8” ) casing string. The needle valve and the gauge are installed on one side of the outlet, and one flange with plug is installed on the other side of the outlet. Drift diameter of the casing head must be 314 mm (min).
1.2	Casing hanger equipped with packer, compatible with 244,5 mm (9 5/8”) casing string. The casing hanger is installed on the upper part of the 350x350 atm (13 5/8” 5000 psi BX 160) casing head with one flange.
1.3	350x350 – 280 x350 (13 5/8” 5000psi BX 160 x 11” 5000 psi RX 54) Casing head with two flanges 1 piece of 65x350 (2-9/16” 5000 psi R-27 API 6A) gate valve is installed on the side outlets. The needle valve and the gauge are installed on one side of the outlet, and one flange with plug is installed on the other side of the side outlet. The 350x350 atm bottom part of the casing head (13 5/8” 5000psi BX 160) is equipped with a packer compatible with 244,5 mm (9 5/8”) casing string. The casing head is equipped with channels (passages) and float valves for hydraulic testing of 350x350 (13 5/8” 5000) psi and 280x350 (11” 5000psi) units.
1.4	Casing hanger equipped with packer, compatible with 177,8 mm (7”) casing string. The casing hanger is installed on the 280x350 upper part (11” 5000psi RX 54) of the casing head.

Casing head with one flange 350x350 atm – 339,7 mm(13 5/8” 5000 psi BX 160 - 13 3/8”).

350x350 – 280 x350 (13 5/8” 5000psi BX 160 x 11” 5000 psi RX 54) Casing head with two flanges

1 piece of 65x350 (2-9/16” 5000 psi R-27 API 6A) gate valve is installed on the side outlets. The needle valve and the gauge are installed on one side of the outlet, and one flange with plug is installed on the other side of the side outlet. The 350x350 atm bottom part of the casing head (13 5/8” 5000psi BX 160) is fitted with a packer compatible with 244,5 mm (9 5/8”) casing string.

The casing head is equipped with channels (passages) and float valves for hydraulic testing of 350x350 (13 5/8” 5000) psi and 280x350 (11” 5000psi) units.

Casing hanger equipped with packer, compatible with 168,3 mm (6 5/8”) casing string. The casing hanger is installed on the 280x350 upper part (11” 5000psi RX 54) of the casing head.
