A hemispherical steel striker is lifted to a specified height and released vertically to impact the test sample. The cookware is fixed securely on a rigid base with impact applied at different orientations:

• End position
• Side (90° rotation)
• Underside (180° rotation)

After each impact, the sample is inspected for visible damage or failure.
