ES7821 Tower/ table/Comfort fans and regulators Energy Efficiency Test Lab
Standards application:
ES 7821 "Comfort fans and regulators for household and similar purpose- Methods for Measuring Performance "
This Tower/ table/Comfort fans and regulators Energy Efficiency Test Lab is developed in compliance with IEC 60879:2019, ES 7821:2024, and other applicable standards. It enables precise measurement of key performance indicators, including air velocity, airflow rate, rotational speed, power consumption, and energy efficiency, for various types of fans such as table fans, floor-standing fans, and pedestal fans. The system supports data acquisition and analysis for fan product evaluation, quality inspection, and research and development purposes.
System overview:
This test solution adopts a compact single-chamber configuration and incorporates a dedicated airflow measurement module, ensuring high accuracy and long-term stability in performance evaluation. The chamber structure is built with 100 mm thick rigid polyurethane insulation panels, combined with double-sided 0.6 mm color-coated steel sheets, delivering excellent thermal retention and a stable testing environment. To guarantee precise environmental control, the system is paired with an independent external air-conditioning unit. By integrating cooling, heating, and humidification functions, the test chamber can maintain highly accurate temperature and humidity conditions, fully satisfying a wide range of testing scenarios.
A separate control and operation room is arranged outside the test chamber to accommodate office workstations, integrated power and control cabinets, as well as variable-frequency power supply equipment. This auxiliary room is generally constructed by the customer next to the chamber using modular panel structures, offering flexibility, easy installation, and efficient space utilization. The entire testing process is managed through a computer-based control system, enabling operators to perform tests remotely without interfering with the internal airflow field. All test procedures are automated, with real-time data collection, storage, and analysis. Once testing is completed, airflow performance results and energy efficiency evaluations are generated automatically, ensuring high repeatability, improved efficiency, and streamlined data management. .
