The handle torque resistance test apparatus is engineered to meet EN 12983-1:2023 clause 7.8 and Appendix C, figure C.1 requirements. This equipment performs comprehensive torque resistance testing on cookware handles, ensuring that torsion deformation in all directions does not exceed 10° and does not compromise handle functionality. Operation Procedure
  1. Position the apparatus on a level, flat surface
  2. Conduct preliminary heat resistance testing on samples according to Appendix B requirements
  3. Install handle clamps at the midpoint of the handle length and secure them
  4. Place the cookware with handle holders and balance bar on the tiltable test bench, adjust the sample frame to securely lock the cookware, then adjust bench tilt to level the balance bar
  5. Hang weights on the left side of the balance bar, record the angle gauge reading after 30 seconds of stability, then hang weights on the right side and record the stable angle reading
  6. After testing, inspect the sample for deformation or loosening
  7. Document test conclusions based on results
