IEC 60456 Washing Machine-Dishwasher-Water Heater Energy Efficiency
Test System Laboratory introduction: This laboratory consists of a performance laboratory, a functional
laboratory and an equipment room. The performance laboratory
provides a stable temperature and humidity environment for the
performance test of washing machines, dishwashers and water heaters
through an insulated warehouse and an attached air reprocessing
unit. The constant temperature water system and related measurement
and control systems are used to operate the washing machines,
dishwashers and water heaters under the specified temperature and
humidity environment. The energy consumption and other performance
of washing machines, dishwashers and water heaters under relevant
standards are tested. And the testing requirements for the
inspection and certification of related washing machines,

Laboratory room technical parameters: - Test room body: 75mm thick 0.6mm thick double-sided ivory white
color steel plate flame retardant polyurethane panel;

- Install a single-phase variable frequency voltage-stabilized power
supply and a mains socket at the test station;
- The performance laboratory is equipped with a constant temperature
and humidity precision air conditioner, temperature control: 23±2
degrees, 20±2 degrees; Humidity control: maintain indoor humidity
at 30~70RH%: (55±5)%RH, (60±5)%RH, 65±5RH%.
- The floor of the laboratory is made of concrete, waterproof, paved
with anti-skid tiles, and a drainage trough is opened on the
ground. The trough surface is covered with stainless steel grates.
The distance between the grates is 20mm. It is made of SUS304
square tubes (25mm*25mm*1.5mm) (constructed by the user);
Constant temperature and pressure water supply system: - According to the requirements of relevant standards: different
specifications and different categories of samples have different
water temperature requirements during testing. In order to meet the
requirements and facilitate use, the water supply system provides
two water supplies: one low-temperature water and one
high-temperature water. The low-temperature water and
high-temperature water are heated by heat pump plus power-assisted
internal circulation. Each is equipped with a 1m³stainless steel
inner tank insulation water tank. The water supply temperature,
pressure and hardness are adjustable.
- Water temperature range: low-temperature water: 10-35℃±1℃;
- Water pressure range: 0.24±0.05MPa;
- Water hardness range: 0~5mmol/l±0.2mmol/l, automatically
adjustable;
- Pure water machine: 1 m³/h;
- The 4-way water supply of the performance test station is equipped
with an electromagnetic flowmeter, water supply temperature and
water supply pressure measurement.
Control and parameter measurement system The control and parameter measurement system mainly consists of
"parameter display instrument and operation control cabinet" and
"computer data processing system". Control cabinet - Control various test operations, and directly measure various
parameters such as the temperature and humidity of the laboratory
environment, the water consumption, electricity consumption, water
pressure, and water temperature of each tested washing machine
through the sensor and send them to the meter for display. All key
control instruments, sensors, data collectors, etc. adopt
high-precision brand-name products to ensure data reliability and
test accuracy. The parameters are as follows:
- Environmental temperature and humidity measurement: temperature
-10~60°C±1°C, humidity 10~90% ±3%.
- Electricity consumption measurement of washing machine:
- Model Number: Yokogawa WT310 Multifunction Meter (One of them with
harmonic function).
- Specification: Voltage, current, electric energy.
- Measurement precision: 0.25% FS+±0.25 reading.
- Water pressure measurement:0~0.5MPa±0.5%FS.
- Water temperature measurement: Pt100, transmitter, resolution
0.1°C.
- Water flow measurement: Yokogawa AXG series, 3
L/min~100L/min±0.5%FS.
Data processing system (Dishwasher): - The software is based on the Windows operating system. It is
compiled using C#. It has a rich graphical interface. In addition
to tables, it can also be displayed and printed in a trend chart.
- The laboratory test display report data includes all (thermocouple
temperature, ambient temperature and humidity, power, voltage,
current, frequency, etc.). Automatic collection and automatic
display, with historical data query function, can be consulted and
printed at any time (including during the test).
- All key data acquisition cards, communication cards, etc. are
brand-name products. Ensure the reliability of data and the
accuracy of the test.
- The software window interface is displayed in English. It has a
friendly human-computer interface. It can record and store data in
real time. Completely realize paperless operation. The operation
may not be easy to understand, but the operation is stable and
reliable.
- Data collected directly through communication include: laboratory
ambient temperature and humidity, voltage, current, humidity, water
pressure, water temperature, and water volume.
- The data of the reference dishwasher and other analytical
instruments are manually input.
- The computer automatically calculates and processes the directly
collected and manually input data, and automatically generates and
saves the results in a report.
- Other requirements are based on the software provided by the
supplier, and the specific operation is negotiated by both parties.
