This equipment is designed to evaluate the safety performance of lithium-ion batteries by simulating mechanical impacts under various conditions of mass, height, and contact area. The test ensures that under standard-defined impact scenarios, the battery does not catch fire or explode.
Test Principle:
A test sample is placed on a flat surface with a 15.8 mm diameter rod positioned horizontally across the center. A 9.1 ± 0.1 kg weight is dropped from a height of 610 ± 25 mm directly onto the rod. The sample is observed for six hours post-impact. Each sample is used once only. Acceptance Criteria: The battery must not ignite or explode.

1. The standard weight is 9.1Kg and the diameter is 15.8mm (which can meet different standards at the same time). 2. Encoder displays the height. Intelligent control is adjustable from 0 to 1000mm (very convenient for customers to use). 3. The double-column design allows the weight to fall freely and effectively prevents safety problems. 4. The 9.1kg or 10kg weight falls from a certain height (610mm or 1000mm) onto the sample, without bias, to prevent secondary impact on the battery surface. 5. Equipped with exhaust vents (to facilitate customers to exhaust the smoke generated during battery testing outside the test room). 6. Double-layer explosion-proof tempered glass window.
