The probe meets the requirements of the standard IEC 61032 Test Probe 1 Fig. 5, as well as many standards such as IEC 60529, IEC 60335-1, IEC 60065 for IP1 testing. This Test Probe 1 is used to verify the enclosure's level of protection against the ingress of solid foreign objects with a diameter of 50 mm or larger.

Test Procedures and Operation Please refer to the relevant standards. IEC 60529:2013 clause 13.2 is used as an example: Push the object probe against any opening in the housing with the force specified in Table 7. The test probe has no built-in force and if a specific applied force is required, the test probe should be used in conjunction with a force gauge (use the force gauge to apply the required force directly to the probe).

1. Do not damage the shape of the device (e.g. scratching, bending, etc.). 2. Protect from dust and humid environment so that oxidation will not affect dimensional accuracy.
