BS EN 12983-1 Double Handle Cookware Bending Resistance Test Equipment
Product information The design of the cookware handle bending strength test apparatus of cookware complies with BS EN 12983-1:2020 clause 7.5 and Appendix D, figure D.1. It is used for the bending strength test of the handle of the cookwares. The fastening connecting part of the handle bears a force of 100N, and there should be no failure in the joints such as riveting and welding.
Technical Parameters
Sample installation Install the cookware as shown below, adjust the left and right, up and down positions of the push-pull force gauges to align the D-section loading bar(s) with the measured handle(s) position. If testing single-handle cookware, make sure that the distance between the contact surface of the D-section loading bar and the handle is 10±1mm from the end of the handle. If testing double-handle cookware, the positions of push-pull force gauges on both sides should be well adjusted.
